Yack Court SPECIAL EDITION

The Ladies of Yack Court: Special Edition is a series of 20 books embellished by the artist. The Special Edition includes stickers created by Kolsrud, which intervene in the book’s carefully assembled scenes. This doubled collage is reinforced by the artist’s physical removal of faces from the page, peek-a-booing image and text and transforming the book into a dimensional object.

The Special Edition builds upon The Ladies of Yack Court, a 44 page limited edition artist book, offset printed in full color. Made by the artist Becky Kolsrud in collaboration with the designers Becca Lofchie, Lauren Alejo, and the press XVXV, it also includes a prose poem by Patrick Price written specifically for these images. Copies of The Ladies of Yack Court are still available for purchase.
